Page won't redirect properly

After a brand new professional installation I went to "enable" cdseo. After I enable it, my landing page shows this:
I just got this message:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a
way that will never complete.

Make sure that you've updated your .htaccess file with the necessary CDSEO code. If the problem persists, it may be that your .htaccess file is not being read, or your server does not support the "DirectoryIndex" directive. Log into your x-cart admin section, access the CDSEO admin and uncheck the setting "Redirect and write home.php to /"
