Canonical URL in static pages - X-Cart SEO Forum

We have had some customization done for static pages and as a result I would like to turn off canonical urls for static pages in x-cart. How would I do this? If this is not possible, how do I have the developer make the mod?
X-Cart version 4.1.12

Hi Scott,

You can turn off canonical links in the CDSEO admin but this will turn it off for all pages.

You may want to turn it off in the admin and then modify your skin1/customer/home.tpl to add a canonical link with custom smarty code.
